Brown Sugar and Bourbon Glazed Ham

Recipe: Brown Sugar, Bourbon Ham

Ingredients

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 325℉

2. Place ham onto an oven rack or baking dish and put it into the oven. Cook uncovered for 45 minutes

3. In a medium saucepan, add in bourbon, pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, honey and cayenne. Cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally. When mixture begins to bubble and begins to thicken slightly, remove from heat and set aside.

4. Remove ham from the oven and spoon about half of the glaze (and any drippings from the pan) on top of the ham.

5. Place back into the oven and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

6. Remove from the oven and top with the remaining glaze. Optional: Place ham under boiler for 2-3 minutes to crisp up the edges

7. Slice, place onto serving platter and enjoy!
